Indiscriminate arrests of several Muslim youth simultaneously from 3 states of south India, namely Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, registration of cases against them under baseless and serious allegations and then shifting them to the BJP ruled Karnataka state; all this seems to be a part of well orchestrated conspiracy of government and police, so that educated Muslims are deprived of development and an atmosphere of fear and terror is created among Muslims. Maulana Naseeruddin organisor Vahdat-e-Islami expressed these views while reacting to the recent arrests of Muslim youth made by Bangalore police.
He further said ‘it seems that Congress government is playing dual game. Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra are ruled by the Congress where innocent Muslim youth have been arrested and they are shifted to BJP ruled state so that no story of atrocities could emerge from Congress ruled states.
It is the need of the hour that Muslim community expresses joint reaction on the arrests of Muslim youth.
