Washington : In less than 48 hours of Muhammad Ali’s death, Piers Morgan’s tweet on the boxing legend made her get trolled Twitter.
Like many others, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen did not take Morgan’s Twitter claim well, which said the boxing legend was more racist than Donald Trump, reports the Us magazine.
On June 5, the 51-year-old British journalist tweeted, ” Muhammad Ali said far more inflammatory/racist things about white people than Donald Trump ever has about Muslims. #fact. Why sugar-coat what Ali said or stood for? He never did that to himself, or when speaking to others. I hope people don’t make me sound too perfect when I die. No coats of sugar please.”
The 37-year-old ‘Glory’ singer came across the TV personality’s tweets and responded, “You could test us by announcing your retirement.”
Teigen joined in, replying to her hubby, “From what? Trolling isn’t a job (I’ve tried).”
Morgan fired back at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, writing, “Maybe I should take up a proper job, like modeling?”
But finally, it was Teigen who got the last laugh, jabbing, “Remember when Bruce Willis didn’t know he was dead? It’s like that,” in reference to the surprising end of the actor’s 1999 film ‘The Sixth Sense.’ (ANI)
