John Krasinski, Emily Blunt tease ideas for ‘A Quiet Place’ sequel

Washington: Actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have teased potential plot details for the planned sequel of their hit movie ‘A Quiet Place’.

The married couple is currently working on several storylines, one of them being revolving around a couple who navigate along with their children in the post-apocalyptic world taken over by aliens with supersonic hearing, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Speaking at the 2018 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Blunt said that it would be interesting to explore the life history of these characters, and observed that nothing as of now has been finalised.

John Krasinski, who recently starred in hit TV series ‘Jack Ryan’, co-wrote and directed the ‘A Quiet Place’– which earned a decent USD 188 million at the box office.

Adding to Blunt’s point, he said that everything from the set to the storyline and a new world has to be brought in for the new sequel.

Talking about other storylines, she said that the past of the aliens is something which can be explored.
The sequel of ‘A Quiet Place’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 15, 2020.
