Several steps have been taken by the Indian Army to provide re-employment opportunity in public and private sector to ex-servicemen, veterans, veer naris, wards and dependents of serving and retired army personnel. For this purpose, Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO) of the Indian Army is functioning at different levels under the aegis of Adjutant General’s branch/Ceremonial Welfare Directorate with PAN India presence. AWPO also assists the business houses/industries and other civil organizations, who are looking after suitable ex-army personnel and their dependents for recruitment in their organisation.
All army ex-servicemen of Andhra Pradesh, who are less than 50 years of age and are seeking civil jobs are advised to contact at the following addresses to sort out issues with re-employment.
