Job offer fraud, One held by Cyber Crime police Cyberabad

The accused Rajendra Prasad r/o Borabanda, Cyberabad, was arrested by Cyber Crime Police, Cyberabad on Feb 25 in a case of Vedanta Aluminum Ltd JOB OFFER FRAUD to the tune of Rs.4,50,000.

Sateesh Vathsa R/o Moti Nagar of Hyderabad lodged a complaint stating that he was cheated by G. Rajendra Prasad for searching a job and paid Rs. 50,000 to him, which is a fraudulent recruitment drive using the name of Vedanta Aluminum Ltd., Bhubaneswar of Odisha.

During the investigation, it is found that Rajendra Prasad along with Rajender, Manager of AMPHUS Technologies used to conduct recruitment drive on the names of noted companies, by issuing fake offer letters and collected money from those who attended the interviews. The arrested accused Rajendra Prasad is closed associate Rajender, they both hatched a plan to gain money by attracting unemployed candidates by conducting interviews in the capacity of Manager AMPHUS Technologies. Accordingly the arrested accused collected data of candidates lured them on the promising them provide jobs and conducted issued offer letter by collecting an amount of 4.5 lakhs from 5 candidates.

The case is investigated by Sri. K. Sudarshan Reddy, Inspector of Police; assisted by Sri. K. Srinivas and Sri D. Ashish Reddy, SIs of Police under the supervision of Smt. Janaki Sharmila, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police and I/C Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crimes), Cyberabad and Sri. D. Pratap Reddy, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime P.S. Cyberabad.
