Ranchi, May 23: In another twist to the Jharkhand imbroglio, JMM today asked all its MLAs to converge at Chief Minister Shibu Soren’s residence tomorrow for the legislative party meeting.
“We have asked all the party MLAs to attend the JMM-LP meeting at the party president?s residence to discuss the present political situation,” JMM-LP leader Hemant Soren told PTI here.
He refused to comment whether the JMM would at last announce which way it would go.
The development comes a day after JMM said it was in touch with the Congress and all options were open including changing its alliance with BJP.
Tomorrow’s meeting could be significant as it comes before the BJP’s parliamentary board meeting slated on May 25.
