JKDPN founder resigns, to contest against Gulam Hassan Mir

Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) founder Tejinder Singh today resigned from the party to contest next Assembly election from Tangmarg seat against Minister for Agriculture Gulam Hassan Mir.

“I have resigned as founder member and core-committee member from the party. I have decided to contest next Assembly poll from Tangmarg, Kashmir, against JKDPN chief and minister Gulam Hassan Mir,” Singh told reporters here today.

Singh said that he resigned from the party protesting against the support given by his party president, Mir, to rehabilitation of former militants.
