Washington: Ahead of the premiere of upcoming fantasy film ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ British author J.K. Rowling has credited the ‘Harry Potter’ fans for encouraging her to write the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ series.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she said the Harry Potter fandom is “the most remarkable in the world”.
Expressing her gratitude to the ardent ‘Harry Potter’ fans, she said the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ series has come a long way since the film ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them’ was released in 2016.
She further said that the loyalty and passion for the Harry Potter stories made her write even more, and added that without their support she wouldn’t have “written these movies”.
‘Fantastic Beasts’ is a joint UK-USA production, and a prequel to the eight ‘Harry Potter’ movies which starred Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
