Rajouri: Lightning in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district last week has killed over a hundred goats and sheep while injured several other dozens of animals in the region.
The incident is reported to have taken place in the high-altitude Alal Mangota area of the Rajouri district.
The cattle were reported to have belonged to Bakerwal families living in the region, NDTV reports.
Senior district officials have also rushed to the spot to inspect the incident.
