JK govt submits three project reports to Centre

Srinagar, August 09: Jammu and Kashmir government has submitted three reports on project to the Centre for funding to upgrade the tourism related infrastructure in Zanskar valley in Kargil district.

The projects costing Rs 4.85 crore has been sent to the Union Ministry of Tourism and approval from the Centre would be received soon, state Tourism Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora said while chairing a meeting of the Zanskar Tourism Development Authority (ZTDA) here today.

The meeting was convened to review the pace of progress on various projects being executed under the Prime Minister’s Reconstruction Plan and State plan for development of tourism infrastructure in the Zanskar area.
