Jammu, March 16: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said his government has introduced a new work culture in the state by involving people in general in the monitoring of development works.
“Transparency and accountability are most important and people have the right to know everything about every scheme,” the Chief Minister told a number of delegations during a marathon public interaction session here.
Describing public service as the core of governance and a close rapport with people essential to get dependable feedback on development, he said, “I have made constant public contact to get first hand appraisal of works and people’s difficulties.”
The government has given a new work culture to the state by involving people in the implementation and monitoring of development works, he claimed.
