TRS MP from Mahbubnagar Jithender Reddy today said they expected clarity on their demand for reservations in Parliament. But the session witnessed noisy scenes continuously. He said the TRS was making inroads for the Federal Front, which will bring about a qualitative change across the nation as several parties are inclined to join against the BJP and the Congress parties, he said.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, the TRS MP expressed concern over the continuous disruption of Parliament for two weeks. TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was focusing on building a federal front at the national level to bring about qualitative change in politics. He also alleged that the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre had failed to keep the promises made in the AP Reorganization Act of 2014. Even after four years, the BJP government has failed to address the issues pertaining to the Bifurcation, he alleged.
Jithendar Reddy also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being reluctant in solving the problems of State bifurcation. Even as the budget session of Parliament has been witnessing ruckus for about two weeks as the Opposition parties were sticking to their guns, the Centre was resorting to play with the lives of the people, he charged. At least now, Parliament should take a call on the key issues, he suggested. (NSS)
