Bhopal, June 10: An engineering student allegedly mowed down three college girls in Bhopal with his car on Thursday evening and ran from the spot.
The victims and the accused are third year engineering students of the same college and the accused Mahendra Yadav is still at large.
Reports say it was a lovers’ tiff and that Yadav approached the girl as she was returning home with her two friends. When the girl refused, he allegedly ran his car over the three girls.
One of the victims said that the accused used to trouble them on the bus. “He used to come on the bus and trouble us. He got angry after we complained about him. He started following us wherever we would go,” she said.
