An engineering student hanged himself to death after an altercation with his girlfriend on Saturday night in Bangalore.
24-year old Haisnam Jakoi, a student of Chandapura based Bangalore College of engineering, was feeling ignored and
abandoned by his girlfriend who was with him for last three years.
He was depressed as his girlfriend was neither taking his call nor answering his desperate messages for last one week.
On Saturday night, Jakoi’s girlfriend came to his flat and they entered into heated exchange of words over some issue.
Jakoi threatened his girlfriend of committing suicide if she failed to mend her ways but the girl ignored it as mere posturing.
An enraged Jakoi climbed a nearby chair and tied a rope to his neck with the ceiling fan. All of a sudden, the chair gave way and Jakoi lost his life.
Three of Jakoi’s friends were also present on the spot. Police is further investigating the incident in order to unravel the real mystery behind the death of Haisnam Jakoi.
