JFE Engineering launches Global Remote Center

Tokyo [Japan]: JFE Engineering Corporation is one of the largest in its field and has recently launched Global Remote Center to monitor overseas plants.

JFE Engineering operates waste power plants, biomass power plants, photovoltaic power generation plants, and water energy plants around the world and has launched Global Remote Centre for the integrated monitoring of all the above plants around the world.

JFE Engineering has consolidated various remote monitoring services into the Global Remote Center.

To demonstrate how to handle tough situations like one in Myanmar where the power grid is unstable and power outage is frequent, the expert operator in “global remote center” unplugged the plant from the power grid remotely and demonstrated instructions to switch to an independent electric power source.

In developing countries overseas, it is difficult for plants to finances themselves and thus they are more vulnerable but they also get offer management support.

“Global Remote Center” can expand the plant to be supported. “JFE Engineering” contributes to the construction of a safe and secure social infrastructure by utilizing the latest technology in the area of infrastructure management and power business. (ANI)
