Maulana Khaleel Ahmed presented a key-note address in the seminar on “Islamic Economic System and the present era” at Jamia Nizamia, Hyderabad yesterday.
In his research paper, he said that Islam is not a combination of certain prayers and rituals. It presents solutions to all the problems faced by the world. Islam has such realities which are not afraid of the scientific revolutions. He told that the Jewish lobby wants to force the Muslims to go astray from Islamic principles. They want that all the people should be involved in debts throughout their lives and should not be freed from economic schemes. Loans etc. are the ways in which the Jews want to bind people.
He advised the Islamic scholars to develop research activities which are in tune with the challenges of the modern time. He told that such seminars and discussions broaden the vision of the students and enlighten them with Islamic knowledge. Maulana Mohammed Saifullah presented a paper on “Advantages and Disadvantages of Internet”. He told that internet is a double-edged sword. It has many advantages but if it is misused, it can cause damage to mind and thought. If the students use it for good purposes, they can improve their knowledge. He narrated various traditions in connection with blasphemy and pornography. Maulana Syed Ziauddin Nakhsbandi presented a paper on “The Insurance of Life and Property”. He explained various facets of life insurance both positive and negative in the light of the traditions.
Maulana Lateef Ahmed explained “Islamic Banking System”. He told that if the Muslims concentrate, Islamic Banking System could prove to be the world’s best economic system. Maulana Mohammed Qasim Siddiqui Taskheer highlighted the issues relating to marketing. Maulana Anwar Ahmed conducted the meeting.
