Thieves stole jewellery worth Rs 8 lakh from the house of director Press Information Bureau (PIB) in KankarbAgh locality, police said today. Thieves entered the house of Vijay Kumar, Director PIB (Media and Communication), Patna office last night and stole jewellery worth Rs 8 lakh, police said. The robbers bolted the locks of the doors in which the official and his family members were sleeping and decamped with the items. Deputy Superintendent of Police M Ahmad visited the house of the PIB official with a team of forensic experts to investigate the matter. PTI
