Vadodara, March 24: A Mumbai-bound Jet Airways aircraft today developed a technical problem in its wheel at the Harni airport here delaying the flight for more than three hours, airport officials said.
The Vadodara-Mumbai flight which was scheduled to depart at 0715 hours developed a problem in the wheel while landing at the airport here at around 0630 hours, they said.
The pilot noticed the damage in the aircraft wheels following which repair work was initiated due to which passengers were not allowed to board the flight, officials told.
The wheel, which was not functioning properly, was being replaced. Meanwhile, over 50 passengers remained stranded at the airport waiting for the departure of the flight, while some of them cancelled their tickets.
