London: Jennifer Lawrence has walked away from “Boyhood” director Richard Linklater’s upcoming romance, “The Rosie Project”.
The Oscar-winning actress, 25, was slated to star in the filmmaker’s new project, which is an adaptation of author Graeme Simsion’s bestselling novel of the same name, reported Guardian online.
“The Rosie Project” centres on a socially inept genetics professor, who creates a scientifically-crafted survey in order to find the perfect wife, but his system is thrown off the rails when he falls in love with a woman called Rosie, who meets none of his carefully-crafted criteria.
Following the news of her departure, reports surfaced she is now in talks to star in “Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky’s untitled independent film, which he hopes to begin shooting in the spring.
