Seattle, USA: Business tycoon Jeff Bezos became the first billionaire since 1999 to cross the mark of net worth $100 billion.
Due to an increase in Amazon’s shares by 2.5 percent during Black Friday sales, the Amazon founder could reach a 12-digit figure, quotes The Indian Express.
On Friday alone, Bezos made almost $2.4 billion. He owns 78.9 million shares of Amazon that worth $93.6 billion.
On October 27, 2017, the 53-year-old had surpassed Bill Gates on the Forbes list of billionaires with a net worth of over $90 billion. However, he lost competition on the same day.
Gates is believed to be the only other person to reach $100 billion in 1999.
