Kareemnagar: Opining that the Rythu Samakya Sangams to be set up irrespective of political affiliations, CLP Deputy leader T Jeevan Reddy welcomed the TRS government’s decision of giving Rs.4,000 per acre to the farmers in every season.
Participating in the ZP General Body meeting here on Tuesday, Jeevan Reddy suggested ruling party to give freedom to the farmers to select the members of Rythu Samakhyas. He opined that the Rythu Samakhyas will work for the welfare of farmers irrespective of political affiliations. He said that the government has given only 30 percent loans to the farmers.
On the other hand, the Finance Minister Etela Rajender has made it clear that the government will allot Rs.6,500 crore to Rythu Samakyas for minimum support price to their produce. (NSS)
