Senior Congress leader and former Minister T Jeevan Reddy today took strong exception to the celebration with chicken and mutton dishes at the TRS meeting in the city, while the farmers were committing suicides in the State.
Speaking to the media here, Jeevan Reddy said the Chief Minister KCR not visiting he farmers who sustained losses due to the heavy rains was atrocious. When the farmers were in distress, is it necessary to have liver fry, boti and other dishes, he asked. He asked whether this was development of the State. He questioned whether a single unemployed person was given job and whether a single notification was issued by the T Public Service Commission during the past 11 months of TRS regime. He said that except KCR”s family, no others were benefited in Telangana state. (NSS)
