Congress Legislature Party (CLP) deputy leader T Jeevan Reddy has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Hyderabad High Court appealing it to stop Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao from demolishing the Secretariat buildings.
In his petition, Jeevan Reddy has alleged that the public money will be wasted with the construction of new Secretariat building complex. He urged the Court to consider his PIL as an urgent issue and pass appropriate order. Responding on the PIL, the High Court stated it would examine the petition on Friday. (NSS)
