Jeevan felicitated by CLP, vows to raise youths’ problems in Upper House

Hyderabad: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) on Friday felicitated the newly-elected MLC of the party T. Jeevan Reddy in the city. Party’s AICC in-charge RC Kuntia and CLP Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other MLAs felicitated Jeevan Reddy on his grand victory from Karimnagar- Nizamabad-Medak-Adilabad Graduates constituency.

Addressing media persons on the occasion, Jeevan Reddy said he would become a voice of the people in the Council and work hard to find a solution for them. He said the youth and unemployed in the State voted for him and ensured his victory in a clear expression of their anger towards the “anti-people” policies of the State government. Reddy said 83 percent of youth in the State were angry against the State government.

Jeevan Reddy said his victory should be an eye-opener to the State government. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao should realize his duties and responsibilities towards the people of the State. He alleged that the State government was causing a lot of injustice to the unemployed youth by not taking up recruitment to fill vacant posts and regularization of services of the existing employees. He also alleged that the State government did not care to issue DSC notification during the last five years despite the fact that the neighboring AP government conducted three DSCs during the same period.
