Congress senior leader and MLA Jeevan Reddy today demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekar Rao implement Right to Education Act and provide KG to PG free education.
Speaking with mediapersons at Assembly media point on Friday, Jeevan Reddy said, ‘the provision of setting up of elementary school for hundred students in each of the Assembly Constituency will not be adequate. It will not be sufficient for the growing population. While more than 6,000 students were joining in primary schools every year, the government was ignoring the growing demand wilfully. With the present provision, KCR cannot provide KG to PG free education to all poor in the State”, he said. (NSS)
