Demanding CBI inquiries into the ‘Cash-for-Vote’ and ‘Phone Tapping’ case, Congress deputy floor leader in Telangana Assembly T Jeevan Reddy alleged that both Telangana and AP Chief Ministers K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu were trying to dilute the cases against them.
Speaking to the media at CLP Office here on Monday, Jeevan Reddy questioned the Telangana State government to explain why the ACB probe into the ‘cash-for-vote’ case slowed down. Asking the Centre as to why it was not responding on the two grave cases, he questioned the Centre whether it was encouraging ‘corruption’ and abetting the crime.
Alleging that both Chief Ministers have come to an understanding with regard to the criminal cases, Jeevan Reddy said they were indulging in unethical activities to cover up their failures. Stating that there was no connection between both the cases, the Congress leader said the two political parties were enacting dramas to hoodwink the peoples of the Telugu States. (NSS)
