Hyderabad: NTA introduced major changes in JEE Main 2020 exam pattern. These changes are introduced in both paper I and paper II of the entrance test.
Paper I of JEE Main
According to the report published in Telangana Today, paper I of the test will have 75 questions. The maximum marks that can be obtained in the paper are 300.
The paper will have 25 questions each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Last year, the paper I used to consist of 90 questions for 360 marks.
The major change in the paper is that out of 25 questions, 20 will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and five numerical types.
Paper II of JEE Main
In paper II of the test, B. Architecture will have to answer two questions instead of three in the drawing part. In the Mathematics section, out of 25 questions, 20 will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and five numerical types.
It may be mentioned that registration for the examination will begin on Tuesday. The last date for applying online is 30th September.
The entrance test is scheduled to be held from 6th to 11th January. The result is expected to be announced on 31st January.
