Patna, December 22: A Bihar court today acquitted a ruling JD(U) MLA and his brother of the charge of murder of a railway contractor for want of evidence.
Pramod Kumar Singh was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Boring road here on September 21, 2003.
Additional Sessions Judge, Narsingh Prasad released JD(U) legislator Narendra Pandey and his brother Hulas in the absence of evidence as all five witnesses turned hostile.
