Gaya (Bihar), Aug. 9 : In a direct attack on the Janata Dal (United), Prime Minister Narendra on Sunday said the former stands for ‘Janata ka Daman aur Utpidan’ (subjugation and torture of people).
“I am reiterating what I said last time – RJD means ‘Rozana Jungleraj ka Darr’. JD (U) stands for ‘ Janata ka Daman aur Utpidan’ (subjugation and torture of people),” Prime Minister Modi said at his mega ‘parivartan’ rally in Gaya.
“If jungle-raj part two comes, everything will be ruined,” he added.
The Prime Minister further asked the people of Bihar to elect a good government in the state.
“Now, Delhi is with Bihar. We are at your service to change Bihar. I am here to ask you to elect a good government,” said Prime Minister Modi.
“In the past 10-12 years, BJP removed Madhya Pradesh from the list of ‘BIMARU’ states. Rajasthan was called a ‘BIMARU’ state. Vasundhara Raje took it to new heights,” said Prime Minister Modi.
Prime Minister Modi had visited Bihar earlier on July 25 where he shared the stage with Nitish Kumar in Patna and addressed a rally in Muzaffarpur.
The BJP, which along with its allies had won 31 of the 40 seats in Bihar in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, is set for a battle against a united Janata Parivar comprising of the JD (U) and RJD. (ANI)
