JCV demands Chandrababu to reveal stand on special status to AP & Central funds

Jana Chaithanya Vedika (JCV) State president V Laxmana Reddy has demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reveal his stand on special status issue. Chandrababu has the responsibility to reveal details of the funds given by the Centre to the State, he added.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Laxmana Reddy suggested to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to spearhead agitation demanding establishment of High Court in Rayalaseema, setting up of Visakhapatnam Railway Zone, Construction of Durgarajapatnam Port, setting up of Kadapa Steel Plant besides special status to Andhra Pradesh State.

Laxmana Reddy said the JCV was welcoming YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision to introduce a no-trust motion in Lok Sabha for special status to the State. He appealed to all political parties to extend their support to the motion. He also urged the 25 MPs of Andhra Pradesh to convey public opinion to the Centre by tendering resignations if the Centre failed to take a decision on special status issue before April 6. He suggested to Chandrababu Naidu to launch a movement for special status to the State along with other political parties and people’s organizations. (NSS)
