JC to leave Congress if State divided or not

Anantapur Congress leader and MLA J C Diwakar Reddy today made another sensational comment saying that he would not be in the Congress whether the State was bifurcated or not.

Talking to the media at Anantapur, JC declared that he would not continue in the Congress party whether Andhra Pradesh was divided or not and he will announce his future course of action after January 31. He also claimed various political parties have been inviting him because of his “guts to win any election”.

Minor Irrigation Minister TG Venkatesh has said he still hopes that State bifurcation will be stopped. Speaking to media in Hyderabad, Venkatesh said Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy have been supporting Samaikhya AndhraPradesh.

Claiming he was getting calls from various political parties to leave the Congress and join them, Venkatesh said, “If the State was bifurcated, I will decide my future course of action after consulting the people and workers of his constituency”. (NSS)
