Former minister and Congress senior leader J.C. Diwakar Reddy today broke silence on land allotted to him by the government.
Responding to a news story appeared in a Telugu daily, Diwakar said that the land in question was a waste land for the past 50 years. He made it clear that the government had allotted that land to him on his request.
Inaugurating a hospital at Kukatpally here on Sunday, he appealed to the doctors not to turn the noble medical field into a profitable business. He exhorted the doctors to serve the poor with dedication and humanitarianism. (NSS)
