Tollywood actress and Congress leader Jayasudha will be bidding an adieu to the Congress party very soon, informed sources said.
Jayasudha had embraced Congress party and successfully contested from Secunderabad Assembly constituency during the united Andhra Pradesh in 2009. However, she tasted defeat in the 2014 elections. She remained politically in active for some time past.
In view of the changed political situation after bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi capturing power in the infant Telangana State, Jayasudha was reportedly contemplating to resign from the Congress party soon. Sources said Jayasudha set a stage ready to join the Telugu Desam party in the presence of party supremo and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. (NSS)
