Mumbai, January 05: A 41-year-old Japanese national was found dead at a high-end hotel in suburban Andheri today but the police have not found evidence of foul play as of now.
Toshi Yukai Matsueara, who worked as Chief of Export Sales for Japan-based Nikuni Company Ltd which manufactures industrial pumps, was found dead in his room in Hotel Intercontinental this morning, said Dilip Patil, Senior Inspector at Sahar Airport Police Station.
“As of now, there appears to be no foul play and it seems to be a natural death. The body was taken to Cooper Hospital. The post mortem report would clear all doubts pertaining to his death,” he told PTI.
Matsueara landed in Mumbai last night along with his colleague Kenji Hayashi and checked into the hotel, Patil said.
“The two had come here to attend an exhibition at National Exhibition Centre today.
