Japanese firms expand their businesses in global market

Australia/Thailand: Japanese manufacturer of gas appliances and energy-efficient water heaters has gone for an expansion in Australia.

Rinnai Australia recently opened a new world-class manufacturing facility.

The new 68,000 square meter site will produce gas and electric hot water systems, air conditioning systems, renewable solar products and includes a new R&D ‘Centre of Excellence’ which will develop and test new products for Rinnai subsidiaries across the world.

“Together with the Japanese R&D centers we have established in Australia, I really hope that the future for Rinnai Australia will be one that develops new technology as we face a world of renewable energy that supplants traditional fossil fuels. Beginning in 1971 by selling a small range of domestic heating products, Rinnai Australia has evolved into a highly successful provider of domestic, commercial and industrial products and solutions.

Today, Rinnai has grown to become one of Australia’s leading industry suppliers and innovators for Hot Water, Heating, Cooling and Commercial Equipment.

The recent investments allow Rinnai Australia to provide a full range of reliable, heating and cooling products all year round catering for a variety of lifestyles.

State-of-the-art hot water, heating and cooling systems designed and made in Australia will soon be exported.

Navara is a pickup truck also with strong links to Nissan’s Asia and Oceania regional headquarters in Thailand.

Thailand is home to the first Nissan Navara plant. 1,400 local employees oversee the entire manufacturing process, and are responsible for the toughness, durability and quality of each vehicle.

The output from the Nissan Navara plant accounts for 57.6 percent of exports from Thailand, contributing to Nissan’s growing regional manufacturing footprint of an estimated 113,644 units per year.

The Thai plant exports to 105 destinations around the world, including the

United States and United Kingdom.

Closer to home, Nissan’s Navara has proven to be a favorite among

customers in A&O. Having experienced an 82 percent increase in sales since its third-generation launch in 2014, it is now Nissan’s best-selling model in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia. (ANI)
