Jana Urges Seemandhra Leaders To Help Solve T Issue

Reiterating that the Telangana issue will be solved very soon, Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy has urged the Seemandhra Congress leaders to cooperate with the Centre in solving the Telangana issue and then only two regions would develop and stood as model States in the country.

Speaking to the media along with Deputy Chief Minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, Ministers Basavaraju Saraiah, Prasada Kumar, Government Whips in the Assembly Arepally Mohan and Eravatri Anil, MP Suresh Shetkar, MLC Shabbir Ali and others, Jana Reddy has urged leaders of Rayalaseema and Andhra regions to cooperate with the party high command in solving the decades old separate Telangana State issue. He said the high command has identified the problem and held deliberations continuously. He said there was an urgent need to solve the Telangana issue before eruption of any untoward incidents and enemity. He also said there was a need to solve the Telangana issue before it was going out of control and stalling the development. He said the two regions would stand as replicas to peaceful and developmental States.

He wanted the Telugu people to remain united by dividing themselves into separate States. He said the State would be bifurcated into two small States to ensure monumental development and good governance. Mutual cooperation will continue even after bifurcation of the State. He exuded confidence that there would not be any obstacles and problems if the State was divided as two brothers. He asked the leaders of the two regions to cooperate with the Centre and explain the people about the necessity of the division of the State to get separated as brothers. He urged the media to continue its cooperation to solve the Telangana issue.

Asked whether the Centre would create separate Telangana State or not, Jana Reddy said he doesn’t know whether the Centre would create separate State or not but he wanted the Centre to divide the State and as part of it, the Telangana Congress leaders organised a meeting in the State capital. He hoped that the party high command would tilt towards division of the State. Stating that the Centre was firm on solving the decades old Telangana issue permanently, he said it appointed Justice Srikrishna Committee and Pranab Committee and others and exuded confidence that the Centre would continue its efforts in this regard.

Asked whether Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana would give report in favor of Telangana, Jana Reddy said it was unwanted issue and exuded confidence that the high command will solve the problem and that too very soon. He thanked all the Telangana Congress leaders and cadre for making ‘Telangana Sadhana Sabha’ a big success. (NSS)
