Minister K Jana Reddy today rang up Chief Secretary PK Mohanty and sought to know whether he has sent a letter to President Pranab Mukherjee for extension of four weeks time. To this the chief secretary replied that he received a letter from Speaker N Manohar and sent it to the President, it is learnt. It is said that Mohanty also told Jana Reddy that he will send a letter if Telangana leaders want. At the behest of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Chief Secretary sent the letter seeking four weeks for extension on debating Telangana Draft Bill, sources said. (NSS)
