Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader K Jana Reddy has said he will become Chief Minister of Telangana State in case the Congress returns to power in 2019.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Jana Reddy said the Congress would protect its cadre and leaders. He said that the Congress party was the party that brought freedom to the nation and created separate Telangana State. He demanded that the TRS government, which assured that it will not increase the bus fares and power tariffs, to withdraw the decision taken in this regard immediately.
Alleging that a single family was ruling the State, Jana Reddy lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that the latter was looting the public money for the sake of contractors’ benefit. He exuded confidence that the Congress party would win in the 2019 elections easily. (NSS)
