CLP leader K Jana Reddy has said that the procedure of announcing the expulsion of MLAs from their membership by the Speaker without taking the explanation of respected members and without discussing the issue in the Ethics Committee, was not there.
In an informal chat with the reporters here on Wednesday at Gandhi Bhavan, Jana Reddy said that he was facing mental friction while seeing the way the House was running. In the past, the House ran decently and there was no such situation now, he bemoaned. He said that the Congress was not villain and it was hero to the nation. “Why KCR came to my residence during Telangana movement when I did nothing to Telangana state. Congress has the credit of developing Telangana state”, he said and alleged that KCR was destroying the state. “Were companies like IDPL, IDL and ECIL brought by KCR?. History of deceiving goes to KCR not Congress party leaders. KCR has to reveal the facts to the people and not to scold anyone”, he questioned. Jana said that KCR would have not got the chance of chiding the Congress party if the Congress party didn’t accord separate Telangana state, he felt and said that the Congress party would show its strength to KCR in general elections. He asked KCR to consider the fact that the Uttar Pradesh people defeated BJP candidate in their Chief Minister’s own constituency. He said that he never discussed about en mass resignations issue and opined that the by-elections will not come easily.
Stating that Congress was the family, Jana said that there were no differences among the party leaders. He said that the parties have to wage movements with thought and caution, otherwise friction will take place. He exuded confidence that the Congress party would come to power in the 2019 elections. The government behaved undemocratically in the House though the Congress party behaved constructive opposition role in the last four years, he said and alleged that the government has no such cautiousness. “I speak like a humanist and true politician but not like KCR. There would not be restrictions to the media in the coming Congress government. The rule should be in democratic manner. KCR, who failed to fulfil the given assurances, has no right s to peak on Congress party’s assurance of two lakh loan waiver”, he said and exhorted that the Congress has the history of waiving loans across the nation.
