Hyderabad: Congress MP Palwai Goverdhan Reddy said that the Congress High Command should serve a Show Cause Notice on Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy as he was directly or indirectly supporting Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday said that the Congress High Command was observing the behaviour and non-performance of Jana Reddy who actions have been causing heavy losses to the party. He clarified that his criticism on Jana Reddy was not personal attack, but he was raising the issue in the interest of Congress party.
Further, the Rajya Sabha MP said that the Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy and his MLC brother Rajgopal Reddy have been trying to join the TRS since a long time. So far, they fixed and withdrawn dates of their joining TRS at least three time. He alleged that Komatireddy brother had secured a big contract for Palamuru Ranga Reddy irrigation project in connivance with Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao. Similarly, he alleged that Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy too was all set to join the TRS. He said Komatireddy brothers and Gutha should join the TRS immediately if they don’t wish to continue with the Congress party.
Palwai also demanded re-constitution of TPCC body in view of recent defections and other anti-party activities. (INN)
