Jana Reddy offer to resign

Hyderabad, October 19: In the meeting of Telangana Congress steering committee, minister for Panchayathi Raj, Mr. K. Jana Reddy offered to tender his resignation from Ministry. He said that ministry is not important for him and he will continue to struggle for Telangana. The meeting was held at the residence of Dr. K. Keshava Rao, President Telangana Congress Committee. Telangana Ministers were severely criticized that their silence is giving rise to suspicious about their role. The M.P.’s were irritated on the state ministers for not tendering their resignations. They told that it is unbearable.

Telangana Congress Steering Committee also criticized the C.M. and P.C.C. President that on the arrest of Telangana M.P.’s during ‘Rail Roko’ programme, Mr. Satyanarayan didn’t say anything.

Since Telangana M.P.’s had issued a statement against the C.M., he sent the M.P.’s to jail.

The members of the Steering Committee told Mr. Jana Reddy that Telangana state won’t be formed until state ministers resign.

P.C.C. President & C.M are targeting Telangana leaders under a conspiracy. Congress pressures that Telangana Congress leaders participating in agitation are anti-congress but those Congressmen who are working for integrated Andhra are not anti-congress.

Mr. K.Venkat Reddy enquired whether the agitating congressmen are it the congress party or the party has dissociated them. Mr. Rajaiah, M.P. said that the struggle will continue till statehood is given to Telangana. Dr. Keshava Rao said that congress is surviving in Telangana because of Telangana agitation.
