Jana asks people to oust KCR

CLP leader K Jana Reddy today exhorted intellectuals, students and farmers to get united to dislodge the TRS government as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was dreaming of entering into national politics.

Addressing the Congress Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra here on Sunday, Jana Reddy urged the people to vote for Congress back to power in the ensuing elections for fulfilling their dreams. He questioned Chief Minister KCR where were the two-bedroom houses scheme, three acre land to Dalits though four years elapsed. He also made it clear that it was not possible for any one to give three acre land to each Dalit family.

Stating that the State and Central governments were owning the welfare schemes of the previous Congress government by changing their names, Jana Reddy said the Congress had introduced Arogyasri scheme. Congress had introduced several schemes for welfare of the people, he said, adding that the TRS government was deceiving the people by giving the assurances which were not possible to implement them.

Leader of the Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir asked Nizamabad MP Kavitha about NSF and 12 percent reservation to the Muslims. He also alleged that the State was being run with the help of police and even as the State government refused permission for public meetings of the Congress, the Praja Chaithanya Bus Yatras was a grand success.

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, AICC secretary V Hanumanth Rao, former Speaker KR Suresh Reddy, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi and former minister Sudharshan Reddy were also present. (NSS)
