Jan. 30 is historic day, say Seemandhra MLAs

Seemandhra Congress MLAs have described January 30 as historic day as the House accepted Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s resolution asking President Pranab Mukherji not to recommend Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Bill-2013 to Parliament.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Thursday after the House adjourned sine die, Seemandhra senior Congress leader Anam Vivekananda Reddy said passage of resolution moved by the Chief Minister was a victory of Seemandhra people. Thanking Speaker Nadendla Manohar for allowing the resolution of the Chief Minister to be tabled, Anam said it was democratic step taken by the Speaker.
Another member Karumuri Nageshwar Rao said they sent back the Bill after rejecting it. Kothapalli Subbarayudu said the Chief Minister behaved with determination with regard to Bill. (NSS)
