Jammu: A 14-feet long tunnel has been unearthed by the Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday which was being dug from the Pakistani side along the international border. It also recovered “war-like” store in Arnia sector in Jammu, officials said.
“An under-construction tunnel was found during sanitisation operation along the international border between Vikram and Patel posts near Damana,” the officials said.

The war-like store indicated the presence of armed infiltrators who could manage to flee back.
A special drive for the detection of tunnels was launched along the international border due to the recent cross-border shelling by Pakistan which killed one soldier and a woman, apart from which a dozen of civilians got injured.
