On the occasion of its 22nd anniversary, Jamiatul Mominath Women Islamic University is organizing a one-day State-level conference on June 30 from 9 am to 7 pm at Nayab Function Hall, Shahalibanda, here
Speaking to mediapersosn here today, Dr Mufti Hafiz Mohd Mastan Ali (Nazim-e-Ala Jamiat-ul-Mominath) said the aim of the Jamiatul Mominath was to eradicate illiteracy among girls in Muslim community. To guide them, the Jamia was conducting weekly and monthly ijtemaath in various parts of the country. Established in 1991 with only five girl students by him, he said Jamiat, a non-profitable organization was functioning with service motto. Some 275 students, who have completed their Mufti, Alima, Fazila and Hifzul Quran courses will be awarded certificates.
“We are conducting training for women pertaining to role of women in parenting the children; Education awareness in women; Unnecessary and unwanted customs and expenses in marriages; bad impact of co-education, Role of Muslim Women in spreading Islam and Universal brotherhood. In this Madarsa, classes are running from “First to Fazil” – Taqasus Fil Fiqha”.
Prominent Islamic women scholars like Prof. Rehana Sultana, Head of Women’s Studies, Moulana Azad National Urdu University, Alhaja Amina Begum (Jeddah), Alhaja Hafsa Mehboob (America), Alhaja Zeenath Begum (Madina Munawarah), Dr Muftia Rizwana Zareen, Principal Jamiatul Mominath, Dr Muftia Naziam Aziz, Head Mufti Jamitul Mominath, Muftia Ruquayya Fatima (Bihar), Muftia Farha Naaz Hashmi (Karnataka), Muftia Shaheen Begum (Maharashtra) Dr Muftia Tahmeean Tasheen (Hyderad), Alhaja Ather Jafari (Bidar, Karnataka) and Qariya Farheen Begum (Odisha) and others will be participating in the conference.
Mufti Mohammed Hasan Uddin (Ameer-e-Shariat Jamit-ul-Mominath), Moulana Syed Shah Hamed Hussain Shuttari, (Director Sharaee Adalat, Jamit-ul-Mominath), Dr Hafiz Mohd Sabir Pasha (Principal Kulyat-ul-Baneen Jamit-ul-Mominath) and Moulana Abdul Wasy Sufi (Member Sharaee Adalat Jamit-ul-Mominath) were also present.
