Jamia Nizamia is a 143 year old Islamic University of Hyderabad from which lakhs of Muslim scholars have graduated. It has 243 faculty members. It also runs a women’s college. Its certificates are recognized for admission into various courses of Osmania University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, English and Foreign Languages University and many other Universities in the Middle East. Its decrees (Fatawa) are recognized by various judicial courses in India. It has no grant from Govt. or any other agency. Its expenditure are met only by the donations of the philanthropists.
