New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia’s AJK-Mass Communication Research Centre (AJK-MCRC), Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics, Department of Social Work (UGC Centre for Advanced Study) and Faculty of Law have been ranked among the top 10 best faculties/colleges in India as per separate surveys conducted by leading weeklies Outlook and India Today. The study conducted by Outlook in collaboration with Drshti Strategic Research Services has ranked AJK-MCRC at No.1 with an overall score of 899 while the survey done by India Today MDRA (Marketing & Development Research Associates) has ranked the Centre at No.2 with 1,780.7.
Both Outlook and India Today have placed Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics at 5th with overall score of 812 and 1,288.4 respectively. The Faculty of Law has been ranked at ranked at 6th with overall score of 734 and 9th with overall score of 1,442.6 respectively by Outlook and India Today. The Department of Social Work has been ranked at 7th with overall score of 1,402.2 by India Today. In terms of best value of money, according to India Today study, Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics has been placed at No.1 position with regard to Return on Investment (RoI) at 9.54, calculated on average placement salary/tuition fee for the entire course.
Faculty of Law has been ranked 3rd with regard to the best value of money with RoI being 26.73. Faculty of Dentistry of JMI has been ranked by India Today at 18th with overall score of 1,322.3 among the top Dental Colleges in the country.
