New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia’s law and architecture departments made it among the top 10, according to the NIRF, while Jamia Millia Islamia sealed the 12th position among Universities in the country.
MHRD’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on the basis of parameters that include- teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach etc. adjudges the Indian universities.
The results of the second edition of the domestic ranking under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) were announced by Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar.
Last year also the Jamia was ranked 12th among the universities with a score of 18-56. While its law department scored 59-91 and ranked 6th and architecture department scored 49-90 and secured 8th rank among universities of the country.
University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Talat Ahmed expressed happiness on Jamia’s retaining 12th rank and law and architecture departments making it among the top 10.
