New Delhi, October 26: Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh, former Chief Justice of India V N Khare, former vice chancellor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) M A Zaki and renowned historian M Amin will be conferred with Honoris Causa degree by the Jamia Milia Islamia at its convocation here on Friday.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will be the chief guest at the function where 3,279 degrees/diplomas will be given away to 2007-08 batch students, the university said.
Altogether 112 PhDs will be awarded and 137 Gold Medals distributed among toppers.
