James Taylor’s magnificent century helped England set a target of 301 for Australia in the third one day international of five-match series here at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
The highlight of the innings was 119 run third wicket partnership between Taylor and Eoin Morgan in which the England skipper scored 62 runs of 56 balls.
After winning the toss, England got off to a decent start with a 52 run opening stand between Jason Roy (63 of 45 balls) and Alex Hales (9 off 31 balls).
For Australia, fast bowler Mitchell Starc took five wickets, but conceded 79 runs in stipulated 10 overs.
Spinner Aston Agar was the most economical bowler, he conceded 45 runs in nine overs and took the wicket of Jason Roy.
This is must win game for England as Australia leads the five match series 2-0. (ANI)
